CO2RE Intima is an in-office, non-surgical treatment that can reverse the signs of childbirth, menopause, and aging as well as restore vaginal tone, flexibility, and shape. Using a medical laser, CO2RE Intima delivers controlled CO2 energy to the vaginal or vulvar tissues.
Externally, this treatment improves dyschromia or skin pigment issues as well as the appearance of labia and other outer vaginal tissues.
Internally, CO2RE Intima improves vaginal muscle tone by tightening the supportive structures of the vulvovaginal complex. The treatment stimulates healing, which results in the formation of collagen and elastic fibers in the skin. It also results in a remodeling of the tissue, improving vaginal moisture levels, flexibility, and shape.
CO2RE Intima is a non-surgical, in-office procedure that only takes about 15 minutes to complete. The treatment is virtually painless and does not require anesthesia. During the procedure, a small, single-use handheld wand is applied to the outer and inner vaginal tissues. A series of three treatments spaced four weeks apart are recommended for optimal results. Some may need more depending on the degree of symptoms. After each treatment, patients will notice gradual improvements in their vaginal tissues. Following the series of treatments, it is recommended that patients return annually to maintain their improvements.
There are no restrictions following the procedure; however, it is recommended that patients abstain from sexual intercourse for seven days following treatment.
